NW GREENINGS: a Wisconsin heirloom from the 1840s. Dense, sweet fruit that also stores exceptionally well. A basket on the winter table makes the whole room smell like pineapple. They are so good sliced and eaten with gooey stinky cheese it makes us want to weep with joy. Also good for pies.
